OMAHA, NE ­(July 21, 2020) – Healthcare architecture and design firm Altus Architectural Studios, Inc. (Altus), with offices in Omaha, Nebr., and Denver, Colo., is proud to recognize two team members recently given the title of Vice President with the firm.

New Vice President Carrie Hinshaw, AIA, LEED AP, provides architectural leadership for Altus’ Denver location as Director of Healthcare. Hinshaw has been instrumental in building client relationships with some of the most influential health systems including University of Colorado Hospitals. A current project under Hinshaw’s management is the multi-phase implementation of a 740,000-sf master plan for UCHealth’s Poudre Valley Hospital, a 270-bed regional referral center in the system’s North Region.

Evan Lamprecht, AIA, NCARB has worked at Altus for more than six years, starting as an architectural intern while still in college. After serving as a project architect for an out of state firm and earning his Master of Architecture degree, Lamprecht returned to Altus Architectural Studios’ Omaha office in the role of full-time architect. Currently, his exemplary work includes planning and design for the 220,000-sf renovation that will house the new Munroe-Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation, scheduled to open in 2021. He also provided planning and design services for the 40,000 sf MercyOne Cancer Center that opened in Dubuque, Iowa on June 1.

President Loren Lamprecht, AIA, NCARB, said that both Hinshaw and Lamprecht have “worked very hard for Altus clients and have shown incredible leadership” in response to the unprecedented challenges facing healthcare architectural firms nationwide. In addition to more than full-time workloads, “both Carrie and Evan have stepped up to do whatever it takes to provide services for our clients, never sacrificing quality or the responsiveness that sets Altus apart from other firms.”
