Altus President Loren Lamprecht addresses the precautions Altus is taking to keep its employees and customers safe.

You are likely receiving many messages regarding the serious threat of COVID-19. I wanted to communicate the ways Altus Architectural Studios is proactively responding to this very serious situation.

There is no higher priority than safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our employees and valued customers. We have implemented measures to make sure we can do just that. You should know that we have no known cases of COVID-19 on the Altus team. We are, however, taking this situation seriously and are proactively preparing now so we will be able to serve our clients in the same responsive manner you’ve come to expect, without interruption, in the days to come.

Here are the ways Altus is responding to this rapidly evolving situation:

  • The Altus Omaha Office
In Omaha, our office will remain open. Our staff who opts to work from our corporate office location will continue to be diligent about hand washing, sanitation and social distancing protocols as recommended by the CDC. In addition, each employee has been offered a flexible work plan option and the digital support to work remotely should they wish to do so.
  • The Altus Denver Office
Because many of our Altus Denver employees rely on public transportation to get to and from work and because of the risk that involves, we have asked our Denver employees to work exclusively from their homes. Each is equipped with the necessary technology and resources to continue working to meet every client need without interruption.
  • Travel and Site Visits
Like many businesses, we are deferring and/or limiting all staff travel to meet only client needs deemed essential. We are fortunate to live in a time when collaboration is possible though a variety of means including virtual meetings, which we are encouraging in every instance possible.

Finally, we are privileged to work with those of you who are right now serving on healthcare’s front lines. Our thoughts are with those impacted by this situation and are especially grateful for the tireless efforts each of you have made and will make in the coming days. We are committed to doing everything we can to support you through these challenging times.
