Master Planning  /  On The Boards   /  Mosaic Life Care – 2019 Campus Master Plan

In September of 2018, Mosaic Life Care (MLC) in St. Joseph Missouri asked Altus to team with Whitecap and EDI to work with Capital Performance Management and Specialized Engineering Solutions to develop a Facility Master Plan. The MLC campus is comprised of the hospital, multiple medical office buildings, a cancer center as well as a general service building and a major parking structure.  This main campus includes nearly one-million square feet of occupies space.

The  Priorities were set for the next 5 to 10 years but keeping the long-term facility expansions in mind.   This master planning process took an integrated approach which included input from Senior Leadership, Directors and Key Support Staff.  Data provided by Mosaic was used to develop Planning Units which was then used to run through Scenario Modeling and converted to Departmental Space Program.  In addition, this master plan looked at current technology capabilities and to plan for future needs as technology needs continue to increase.
