Carrie is a planner with nearly 20 years of experience in all phases of architecture, with a focus on healthcare solutions. She has led the planning, design, and development of a diverse range of healthcare facilities, including both new construction and complex renovations for community hospitals, expansive urban campuses, specialty centers, and medical office buildings. With her strong coordination skills and technical capabilities, Carrie provides clients with an array of planning services, from multi-site campus master plans to facilities analyses, feasibility reports, and building master plans. She works closely with clients and end-users to establish patient and provider flow diagrams, conceptual sketches, and programs that allow the design process to move smoothly into project development. Her solid understanding of healthcare design standards and learned best practices enable her to successfully guide clients through strategic planning and an integrated design process.

Hinshaw holds both a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. She is also a registered architect in Colorado, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. She is active in the Colorado Association of Healthcare Engineers and Directors (CAHED). Based in Denver, CO, Carrie will lead teams for many significant projects throughout the Midwest, in partnership with the Omaha headquarters.
