Congratulations Anna!

Altus Architectural Studios has announced that Anna Pratt has achieved licensure as an architect in the State of Nebraska after successfully completing all of the state’s requirements and passing the Architectural Registration Exam.

Anna spent two summers at Altus as an intern architect before joining our team as a full-time employee in 2013.  She graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a Master of Architecture degree and Bachelor of Science in Design – Architectural Studies degree.

Anna has gained experience in healthcare design from her depth of project work, including: CHI Health Clinics, CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center-University Campus, CHI Health St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, CHI Health Immanuel Medical Center, Johnson County Hospital, Methodist Health System, and UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital.

Anna looks forward to infusing each project with knowledge gained from the licensure process and continuing education opportunities.


Altus Welcomes Mike Goertzen


Altus is pleased to welcome Michael Goertzen, NCARB, LEED AP, CDT, to the team!  He will serve as Senior Project Manager at the firm.

Mike has devoted over thirty years of his career to specializing in healthcare architecture across the United States. Mike has an understanding of the advancement in technology and changes these advancements are having on the delivery of services by healthcare facilities.  His extensive list of experience includes planning as well as well as coordinating building projects such as facility additions, renovations and new facilities.  Projects have included a wide range of healthcare facility types such as cancer centers, medical office buildings, surgery centers, and full-service campuses.  His duties have ranged from project administration including project planning, to user group meeting coordination, team coordination, code studies, design and detailing.
