Wright Street Holdings, LLC commissioned Altus Architectural Studios to design a patient focused medical building that expressed their commitment to oncology care, technology and healing. The building sits on almost 4 acres of land overlooking a mixed residential and wooded area in West Omaha, NE. Responding to the site and our client’s commitment to patient care Altus’ design team placed the chemotherapy area in direct relationship with the finest views. Now when Oncology patients receive chemotherapy, for up to 6 hours, they have expansive views to the outside along with the use of a large second story open air balcony. Continuing with patient care and technology in mind the building boasts 8,000 square feet of radiation oncology space which includes a linear accelerator with space for an additional unit, one general x-ray room, one P.E.T. scan and a general C.T. room. Also included within this 53,000 square foot building is a two story water feature at the main entry which is complimented by natural materials and soothing colors throughout.
