The Roanoke-Chowan Hospital adds a new 3,920 square foot Emergency Department that includes a new ambulance drop-off as well as a new out-patient emergency entry. The existing Emergency Department becomes a fast track ER area. Some remodeling was also done in the existing Radiology Department.
