Rapid City Ambulatory Surgery Center This new free-standing 25,000 square foot out-patient surgery is located adjacent to the existing hospital. The Surgery Center combines a relaxed environment with state-of-the-art technology. Examples of the design’s responsiveness to patient needs include the Healing Garden area, private pre-op and recovery rooms, extensive use of glass for natural lighting, and a fireplace located in the waiting room. The Surgery Center contains four OR’s, two future OR’s, and a 10-bed 23-hour stay unit. |
